Milltown Grads Establish Scholarship Program

Our Scholarship Fund with Fundy Community Fund gave us $1,300.00
this year. Thus, we were able to award two scholarships .....$1,000.00
and $300.00 ...... recipients being Ryan Jacobs and Christopher
Johnson, both pursuing their secondary education at New Brunswick
Community College and both having completed their primary education
at Milltown Elementary School.
We have
high hopes that our Fund will increase each year so we may continue
to award more than one scholarship. Anyone wishing to supplement
that Fund toward this goal can make their donation on line at www.fcf.nb.ca earmarked
for Milltown Scholarship Fund and indicating your name and MHS number
,,,,,, or you can mail your donation directly to Fundy Community
Foundation, P.O. Box 3902, St. Andrews, N.B. E5B1S7. We are right
now drafting a plaque, to be erected in Milltown Elementary School,
containing all the names of the donors, in alphabetical order by
first name. It will be completed and on display at the Reunion. |
